Laurel Oak Christian Church seeks a summer intern for approximately 10 to 11 weeks during the summer of 2023. The intern will be responsible for youth activities during the time. The goal will be to build youth group capacity. Specific projects include staffing a summer VBS, attending Christian service camp with campers, developing youth group meetings and sponsors, and conducting Youth Group Bible Studies on a weekly basis and recruiting adult youth sponsors.
We see this role as enhancing our capacity to strengthen our youth group and disciple young people. Leadership is excited to have an opportunity to bring an intern to the church. It is the hope of leadership that the position can be developed into a longer lasting position.
