About Us

Laurel Oak Christian Church (LOCC) is an elder led and ministry team driven congregation. We are an independent Christian Church affiliated with the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement. Christ is preached. Christians are encouraged. The mission of Jesus is supported and practiced through the community and the world. LOCC is a caring and generous church. Visitors and members are welcomed into a friendly church with classes for all ages. The church is known in the community for its service ministries, its outreach through the Open Door Ministry to the homeless, and its support of New Life, the former pregnancy center of High Point. The church has its own daycare center. The community is part of the larger Piedmont Triad comprised of Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point, offering a lot of community opportunities.
