The role of Worship Pastor is a year-round, salaried, and full-time (40 working hours per week). The Worship Pastor is expected to attend Sunday worship services, rehearsals with the Worship Team, and other special services including (but not limited to) Christmas and Easter. This position’s work is done cooperatively with the Lead Pastor and Worship Team. As part of the Leadership of the Church, the Worship Pastor is expected to advocate for the worship ministry and services. This role is not expected to be on stage week after week, but rather, on stage as needed and invested in the production and presentation of the whole church.
One benefit that is offered to staff in their contracts is an expense account primarily designated for continued education.
The Lead Pastor understands one of his primary roles is to pastor and direct the hearts of the staff so they may be healthy and empowered to serve the church.
