Unicoi Christian Church (UCC) is seeking a part-time (5-10 hrs/week) Worship Leader for our congregation in Unicoi, Tennessee. The Worship Leader will oversee the praise and worship on Sunday mornings and lead the congregation in musical worship. We are looking for someone who models a posture of genuine worship in their lives and is able to lead others in worship through incorporation of a variety of musical styles, prayers, and other spiritual practices. The candidate should be:
- competent in leading worship with a guitar or piano and singing
- able to utilize a mixture of traditional and contemporary songs and hymns in designing an environment that is helpful for diverse generations seeking to worship deeply
- able to develop a worship team and integrate others with diverse musical backgrounds into it
