The Associate Pastor of Worship and Youth Ministry will work alongside our Lead Pastor in serving and leading our congregation, with a special focus on leading our worship team and maintaining a Christlike presence in the lives of our youth.
Our congregation of roughly 100 members has roots in the Stone-Campbell Movement and Churches of Christ, but our members come from many faith traditions. We have been in a season of transition that has included a desire to employ God’s gifts to women in leadership and service in our worship and ministries and a shift towards instrumental and contemporary worship. We are seeking a man or woman who can help our journey in these directions by leading our worship and youth ministries.
The ideal candidate has a passion for helping people experience Jesus Christ through worship, and for walking alongside teenagers as they encounter Jesus for themselves. He or she should have the ability to effectively lead worship services, and preference will be given to candidates who can do so playing a guitar.
