About Us

Located in beautiful Richmond VA, Velocity Church is on mission to help people find Jesus and love God. Each Sunday gathering meshes Bible-centered teaching with some of the area’s best modern worship music featuring electric guitars, drums and kicking bass. But above all, we’re about asking and answering relevant, spiritual questions about life and each person's place in it. We think church should be fun, engaging and a place that leads us to take action each week. Come experience a community made up of people with all kinds of stories, from all different backgrounds. We're fascinated by the story of Jesus Christ and the incredible freedom He brings to humanity. We believe the church is alive and active beyond Sunday mornings. As a church, we impact our community through serving it consistently. Our expectation is each person who calls Velocity their church home helps make our community a better place to live.
