About Us

Milton Freewater Christian Church started in the 1880s in Milton, OR. Followers of Christ from other congregations desired to unite together for the purpose of advancing the "Master's cause." The first meeting was November 23, 1886, and the building was erected in 1887. The church continued to grow, necessitating a new building. The new building, our church building today, was built in 1917 and dedicated in 1918 with a seating capacity of 350. We have been meeting here for 104 years! We have one service with fellowship time after, many Sunday schools, and other community gatherings throughout the month.
