About Us

Located near the beautiful Nolichucky River in Erwin, TN, Embreeville Church of Christ has faithfully served the Lord for 73 years in the Embreeville community. The church is located roughly 15 miles south of Johnson City Tennessee on interstate I-26. Our purpose is to love God and to love people, as commanded in Matthew 22:38-40. We are a church that serves God. We all work together to advance the Gospel in our community and around the world. We display our faith in Christ by worshipping together weekly, having weekly, multigenerational, Bible classes. We believe in the power of prayer, specifically the prayer of the righteous, we commune with God weekly, by remembering the sacrifice of His body and blood on the cross. Our teaching and preaching is gospel centered, that comes from the Word of God. The church ministers to around 120 people in this rural community. We are part of the Restoration movement. When asked what they love about their church, congregants said, "We worship Jesus Christ in unity in a loving environment."
