Cedar Creek Church of God exists to make, mature, and multiple disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. We seek to accomplish this mission by loving God, loving one another, and serving the world around us. It is expected that the Youth Pastor will operate the youth ministry within this mission and vision.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Oversee youth ministry (Grades 6-12)
• Oversee youth ministry volunteers (This will involve enlisting, training, and coordinating volunteers to assist with the youth ministry at Cedar Creek)
• Teach weekly (Sunday morning small group and midweek programming)
General Responsibilities
• Active participation in weekly church services
• Active participation in outreach events
• Must be willing to preach on Sunday mornings in the Senior Pastor’s absence
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministry or similar degree program (Preferred)
• Ordained or willing to enter the ordination process in the Church of God (Anderson)
• 2-3 years of experience working or volunteering in Youth Ministry settings (Preferred)
