Creekside Christian Church is looking for a new Youth Minister! The Youth Minister is responsible for the leadership and spiritual direction of the student ministry. With respect to fulfilling the requirements of this role, the Youth Minister will partner with the Lead Pastor to achieve God’s purposes for the church. Together with the Lead Pastor and Elders, seek God’s vision for the Church and be the primary vision caster for the youth ministry. The Youth Minister is accountable to the Elders, as overseers, in the accomplishment of these responsibilities. Men and/or women are encouraged to apply.
Youth Ministry is defined as Kindergarten through 12th grade. The Youth Minister will have direct ministry involvement with middle and high school students.
The Youth Minister is responsible ensuring youth ministry alignment with the mission, values, and vision of the church. The Youth Minister will work to establish systems and processes that provide a strategic framework for a spiritually healthy, disciple making youth ministry.
The Youth Minister will create and implement youth ministry programs and events.
The Youth Minister will be actively involved in disciple making, working as a disciple who is intentionally making disciples. Also, the Youth Minister will work to build a culture of disciple making among students.
The Youth Minister will work to equip, empower and support, youth and youth leaders for leadership and service in the Church.
The Youth Minister will be involved, when appropriate and relevant to student ministry, in direct visitation and pastoral care. Regarding youth, this may include visitation with prospective youth and their families, also, active and inactive members.
The Youth Minister will work with the Lead Pastor to execute and maintain a Child Safety Program.
