Williamsville Christian Church is looking for a person who has a passion for serving young people to oversee the church’s 6th-12th and college age ministries. The Youth Minister should be someone who wants to pour into young people’s lives by teaching them God’s Word, supporting their everyday lives, and by connecting with them in relationships. We have 3 other full-time staff members that work alongside each other as well as volunteers to help with this ministry. This individual will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteers within the student ministry in addition to overseeing the curriculum and teaching materials. WCC’s leadership puts a strong emphasis on the youth of the church and provides many resources to carry out these ministries. We are a Restoration Movement Church that sits on Interstate 55 just 15 miles of Springfield, IL. The schools in our area just completed major renovations and additions to their buildings, including a huge indoor sports complex. There is also a college ministry (CSF) that works with students at Lincoln Land Community College and UIS in Springfield.

Goals for this position would be to:

• Build relationships by engaging in students lives.
• Encourage students to build relationships with God and help develop a strong spiritual foundation.
• Share Jesus with our community.
