Christview Christian Church in Winchester, KY is looking for a part-time youth director to oversee youth programing and attend to the spiritual development of youth in the church. The youth director works with church members and staff to achieve the church’s mission objectives. As a ministry of the church, the person in this position will be extending the ministry of Christview Christian Church to our members and the surrounding community.  The major goal of the youth director is to guide middle school and high school young people in their faith journey.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead and organize effective youth programs implementing fellowship, discipleship, and ministry and mission opportunities
• Maintain contact with parents, keeping them informed of ongoing activities and updated on ministry strategies and plans in a way that encourages partnership and involvement
• Plan, organize, and attend annual youth events (for example, CIY)
• Seek to integrate youth ministry into all phases of church life to create a culture that is intentionally intergenerational
• Ensure the church’s youth protection policies are strictly followed to include background checks for all workers
• Oversee and implement high school graduation recognition to include video presentation

Requirements: This position requires a committed Christian who is a regular participant in the life of Christview Christian Church. Specific requirements include: bachelor’s in ministry field or four years experience with youth ministry; personal and growing relationship with God; vision-casting and implementation; love for youth; evangelism and outreach; self-motivation; strong biblical knowledge; administrative and communication skills.
