Worship Pastor Position

Southside Christian Church is a thriving and growing congregation located in beautiful Central Kentucky. Our surrounding community is a great place to raise a family, offering: solid schools, friendly neighbors, shopping/restaurants, outdoor attractions, and a rich history. We are seeking a full-time worship pastor who is gifted for a modern, relevant & engaging worship style for our multi-generational church. We currently have a talented team of vocalists with a full band who love being together & serving our church. We are seeking someone who will shepherd our existing worship & tech teams with the love of Christ and promote growth (spiritual, skill-set & # of volunteers) in our ability to lead hearts to worship.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leading Sunday morning worship service(s) with a weekly rehearsal/practice & devotion time
• Leading worship for church-wide/community events
• Team Leader of worship team (singers, musicians, tech team)
• Enhance our online presence (website & social media)
• Pastoral care for volunteers in the worship community
• Invest in our student ministry worship team (teenagers
