Woodland Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina, is looking for a fulltime Worship Leader.  The position includes planning worship services, leading a praise team, including musicians and instrumentalists, directing a worship choir, overseeing the audio-visual team and the church’s livestream.  The primary role is leading worship on Sunday morning.  The position is also responsible for planning special programs for the worship ministry such as Christmas, Easter and nights of worship.

The candidate would preferably have training in music along with education in leading worship.  We prefer the candidate to have experience leading blended worship and directing a worship choir.  He or she should also have a working knowledge of technology associated with live-streaming worship.  Experience with sound, lighting, and video are also important.  The Worship Leader will be expected to enlist people in the ministry, to teach, minister to, and equip them for leading the congregation in worship, and empower them to serve Jesus and the church faithfully.

In addition to good music ability, a sound Christian character and desire to make disciples are necessary.
