The Worship and Creative Arts Pastor:

This position provides leadership to all of Discovery worship through humility and excellence, connecting with the mission, vision, and values of our church.  The Worship Pastor is responsible for training and shepherding worship team vocalists and band members as well as overseeing the worship portion of services, including musical selection, elements, and arrangements. Additionally, this position is responsible for the experience on Sunday mornings and oversees the key components for the overall feel, aesthetics, and experience of the church. The creation of in-house videos, interactive worship elements, and creativity are all marks of Discovery Church.  The Worship Pastor collaborates with the Lead Pastor to ensure consistent quality, creativity, and theology.

We are looking for a person who is highly creative, humble, has a strong work ethic, and has a grounded theology.  We are excited to bring this person that God has directed to Discovery on board soon!

Education & Experience

• Experience as a Worship Pastor
• Undergraduate degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong vocal ability
• Instrumentally talented
• Ability to read and arrange sheet music & chord charts
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Tech savvy
• Skilled in creating engaging videos
