Mountain View Church of Christ (Christian & Instrumental) is seeking a full-time Senior Minister to preach and teach the Word of God to our local congregation and community.
Essential Functions
- Prepare weekly sermons and presentations.
- Help prepare weekly bulletins and announcements.
- Be available for counseling and/or consultation with the congregation. • Provide pastoral care and encourage members of the congregation by visiting them in their homes or at the hospital when they are sick.
- Help equip members of the congregation to serve in opportunities of ministry.
- Interact with the congregation by maintaining office hours at the church.
- Lead and teach small Bible study groups.
- Help plan and accomplish church activities that provide meaningful opportunities for engagement with the congregation and the community.
- Spend time in prayer for our nation, state, community, and congregation.
- Maintain positive interactions with our community.
