Due to the retirement of our Senior Minister, the Greenfield (Ohio) Church of Christ is seeking to fill our full time Senior Minister position.
Our town is in southwestern Ohio located almost equal distance between Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus.
We know God will provide the right man to lead His Church in Greenfield. Whether that man may be a young preacher ready to learn and lead or one that has been preaching for several years. He would be working alongside of our Associate Minister and the Elders to further God’s word in our community. We have prayed that God sends a man who will preach the word of God with enthusiasm, love and grace.
Some of the Senior Minister’s responsibilities would be:
- Lead Morning Service on Sunday
- Mid-week Bible Study (whether you teach or arrange for someone else to lead)
- Perform weddings (in accordance to church policy) and funerals
- Work with the Elders and General Board as a partner and follow leader
- Visit members in hospital and shut-ins
- Work with our active Missions Committee
The personal character of the man should be one that has a strong and personal relationship with Jesus, committed to the Restoration Movement Church, mission and worship style, a humble attitude, always ready to learn and grow and be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a team player.
Currently, salary is negotiable.
