University Christian Church is searching for an experienced preacher with staff oversight experience. Our search committee will review the submitted resumes and ask for additional documentation from a subset of the applicants. You should receive a reply from the committee within 3 – 4 weeks.
Some Responsibilities:
– Lead the Church – Provide spiritual leadership, encourage the congregation, and inspire zeal on the part of all members in the service of Christ.
– Teach the Word – Be responsible for preparing and delivering sermons at Worship Services each week
– Shepherd the Flock – Function in a pastoral capacity to provide counsel during personal, family, moral and/or spiritual problems or concerns.
Requirements:
– Candidate must be an ordained minister.
– A bachelor’s degree and/or graduate degree from a seminary is required. Strong preference given to a degree from a Restoration Movement bible college.
– Minimum of 7 years of pastoral experience is required
