We are looking for a minister to serve our church on Sunday mornings for the worship service. Our church has served the Rogersville, Tennessee area since 1894. We are a small church made up of mostly older Christians who love each other and love the Lord. We meet each week on Sunday for Sunday School at 10am and Church service at 11am. We are a traditional church that loves the old hymns and strive to live up to our Church’s name…New Hope.

The position is available because our previous minister became seriously ill and needed to retire based on the recommendation of his physicians. We typically have hired retired ministers in the past. There is no formal staff. We govern by discussion and agreement

We would welcome a part time minister who can uphold these beliefs and practices with us:

• That the Bible is the word of God.
• Baptism is by emersion.
• Participate in the Lord’s Supper each Sunday.
