Blountville Christian Church is seeking a passionate and experienced Worship Leader to join our team part-time. The Worship Leader will be responsible for planning and leading Christ-centered worship services that engage and inspire the congregation to glorify God. This role requires musical proficiency, leadership skills, and a heart for worship. The position is approximately 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and lead worship services in collaboration with the senior pastor.
- Select songs that align with the weekly message and encourage congregational participation.
- Lead worship rehearsals and mentor a team of musicians and vocalists.
- Utilize worship tracks and integrate them into live worship sets for a seamless experience.
- Oversee the audio/visual (A/V) team to ensure smooth production during worship services.
- Foster spiritual and musical growth within the worship team and congregation.
Qualifications:
- A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- 3 years of worship-leading experience, preferably in a church setting.
- Strong vocal and instrumental (guitar or keyboard) skills.
- Ability to lead and develop musicians and vocalists.
- Proficiency in utilizing worship tracks and familiarity with worship technology.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A passion for worship and leading others into God’s presence.
Hours and Compensation:
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
