Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is looking for a fun, energetic person to help teach and lead our Children on Sunday mornings. This worker would be responsible for fostering a positive, affirming atmosphere that uplifts children. They should help our kids learn, play, and grow through Children’s Church programming.

One of the bigger goals we would like to accomplish with this addition is to split our Children’s class into two groups, pre-readers and readers. Creating two classes ensures that the educational levels that our children hold are fully accommodated for. Simply put, we are trying to better meet the needs of our children’s ministry.

The Children’s Minister must have an understanding and openness toward the Presbyterian Church (USA) and reformed theology. They must be willing to love, teach, and be hospitable to all people; especially to the youngest members of our church community.
