About Us:

McKenzie Bridge Christian Church is a close-knit community of believers located in the scenic McKenzie Bridge area inside of the Willamette Forest. Our church family values pastoral care, adaptability, and a love for the community and the outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing spiritual guidance, support, and pastoral care to our congregation.
• Leading worship services, sermons, and special events.
• Facilitating Bible studies and small groups, with a focus on Bible teaching.
• Providing Christian counseling up to a training level.
• Embracing opportunities for change and growth within the church community.
• Open to individuals without formal ordination or licensing, including recent graduates or retirees.

Qualifications:

• Both men and women pastors are able to apply.
• Church plant pastors and pastors still studying in Bible School encouraged to apply.
• A strong faith and deep understanding of Christian doctrine and personal faith.
• Some formal training in ministry, a degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A love for the outdoors, as our area is known for its hunting, fishing, and hiking opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Benefits:

• Monthly salary of $2500 after taxes.
• Three-bedroom, two-bath parsonage available for residence (requires some repair work).
