Lone Oak Christian Church in Johnson City, TN is looking for a full-time senior minister. A welcoming and mission-oriented congregation, Lone Oak Christian Church hails from the Restoration Movement and is an independent, instrumental Christian Church.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and preaching weekly sermons for the congregation
• Pastoral care of the congregation, including visitation for the elderly, hospital visits, etc.
• Teaching, including assistance in preparing Sunday school lessons when needed
• Serving as an elder in collaboration with the other elders

Requirements:

• A degree in ministry, either from a Bible college or seminary
• Experience as a senior minister preferred
• Familiarity with/Background in the Christian Church/Church of Christ, with knowledge of the Restoration Movement
