Due to our minister being called into the missionary field, First Christian Church in Byrdstown, TN is seeking a candidate to fill the full time Lead/Preaching Minister position. Byrdstown is located in Pickett County, TN with a population of 5,100 people. The community lies on beautiful Dale Hollow Lake which brings many tourists to the area over the summer. We are a congregation of approximately 100 in membership and approximately 80 in attendance on Sunday morning. We seek a candidate with an independent Christian Church-Restoration movement background.

Lead minister responsibilities include:

• Preaching weekly sermons
• Teaching Bible study each week
• Involvement in outreach events in the community
• Providing pastoral care
• Participating in special services and events

We seek a minister that will demonstrate a personal relationship with Christ, and identify and equip leaders within the church.

We prefer a minister with a Bachelors degree or higher from a school associated with the Christian Church. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
