MCC is seeking applicants for Lead Minister who will oversee the preaching, administration, and outreach of our church. The ideal person for this position will not only be a leader, but also a person who inspires, encourages, and enables others to Live as Faithful Followers of Jesus. We desire someone to guide our people to grow deeper in their walk with Jesus and to reach our community with the love of Jesus.
Some Responsibilities:
- The Lead Minister is ultimately responsible for all aspects of corporate worship services, and is expected to work closely with the Worship Minister to offer spirit-filled services that edify and equip the congregation.
- Proclaims the Gospel from the stage with authority and wisdom
- Leads the congregation with vision and encouragement to live a faithful Christian life
- Oversees pastoral care (visitation, counseling, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Christian Church (Restoration Movement) background.
- Baptized (immersed) believer in Jesus Christ; ordained.
- Bible / Theology Bachelor degree
- 3-5 Years in Christian ministry, preferably as a lead minister
- Must agree to MCC statement of beliefs
- Strong faith, characterized by spiritual maturity, discernment, and integrity
- Healthy work ethic
