We are seeking a seasoned Member Care Professional with expertise in international and cross-cultural contexts to join our team. As a Member Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and care to our field workers, ensuring their spiritual, relational, and emotional needs are met. You will serve as a bridge between IDES headquarters and our overseas field workers, facilitating regular communication, providing guidance and support, and advocating for their needs.

Location: Remote/Global

Strategic Pastoral Care:

  • Establish a care philosophy that reflects IDES’ vision, values, and Biblical principles.
  • Offer spiritual guidance rooted in Biblical principles
  • Create policies that align with the established care philosophy.
  • Formulate annual personal and departmental goals that support IDES’ mission. Supporting Field Workers and Teams
  • Communicate regularly with field workers to understand and address their needs.
  • Provide spiritual and relational guidance, with a focus on health and well-being.
  • Organize recruit training and ongoing support, offering resources for development. Connecting Ministry Efforts
  • Bridge communication between IDES headquarters and overseas field workers.
  • Travel internationally to visit and provide in-person support multiple times per year.
  • Share ministry victories and highlight impacts with stakeholders.

Communication:

  • Facilitate conflict resolution among team members, promoting a positive team dynamic.
  • Balance focus between IDES goals and field worker advocacy to meet the needs of both.
  • Encourage open communication to foster trust and transparency within the team.

Field Care Coordinator Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in member care, international development, or a related field.
  • Expertise in international and cross-cultural contexts, with experience working with diverse cultures and populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with field workers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues fairly and professionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other technology platforms.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a membership-based organization or industry.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific products and services.
  • Certification in member care or a related field
