The Family Pastor will provide leadership and support to the Kids Ministry and direct leadership to the Youth Ministry. The Family Pastor will spend approximately 75% of their time in Youth Ministry and 25% of time in Kids Ministry to provide a seamless ministry experience for all kids, students, and families.
- They will create a mission/vision/strategy that aligns with the overall mission/vision/strategy of the church, and will recruit and lead a team of leaders to execute an effective, sustainable Family Ministry.
- The Family Pastor will spearhead a strategy to grow the ministry, and reach kids/students/families that are far from Jesus within the community.
- The Family Pastor will also be responsible for building and managing a budget, recruiting and training volunteers, implementing and executing a strategy for equipping parents, leading special events for kids, students, and families, and ensuring kids and students are able to engage Jesus at their age level.
