Westwood is seeking a full-time Family Minister. This position will lead and direct the children’s and youth programs while developing resources and partnering with parents to disciple the next generation. The Family Minister will be led and partner with the Lead Minister to make sure that our programs for all ages are working together to form a unified church body.

A Successful candidate will have experience working with children and parents. They will have a history of creating and building new programs that meet a need of the organization. They will model the grace and love of God in their personal and family life; their working relationship with the church family; and the community. This position is open to both male and female candidates and those with or without religious education.

The Family Minister will report to the Lead Minister who will work with them to lead and organize those teams and programs in conjunction with the overall vision for the church. We support staff and leadership development and encourage staff to find ways to continue to grow as ministers and individuals. We also spend time together with other leaders in the church. Westwood loves to spend time together, so many of our events have fellowship as a piece of the plan.
