Grandview Christian Church is looking for a ministry fellow to work alongside our Discipleship Minister focusing on Canopies (curriculum development, program coordination, and teaching) with an opportunity to explore other areas of ministry interest.
Discipleship Area: Primary
- Canopy (small group) check-ins, both ongoing and seasonal
- Writing and developing adult curriculum for seasonal Canopy Emphases
- Managing and coordinating seasonal Canopy Emphases
- Coordinating volunteers and preaching at Christian Assisted Living
Secondary (Time permitting)
- Explore another ministry area of interest.
- Support in the recruitment and training of volunteers for that area of ministry.
- Participate in the pastoral care of volunteers for that area of ministry.
- Support in long-term planning for that area of ministry.
Preaching: Primary
- Meet regularly with the preaching staff
- Prepare and preach at least two sermons
Mentorship
- Meet at least bi-monthly with a member of Grandview staff to discuss vocational goals and issues
