CedarCreek Church is seeking the right candidate to take over as the new Director of Kids to oversee the kids ministry at Perrysburg, which is the broadcast campus. The right candidate will have a deep personal life in Christ and a character and capacity that aligns with the church’s overall mission and vision.

Below are the qualifications and responsibilities for this position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the CedarCreek’s Kids Ministry of children birth-4th grade.
  • Provide primary leadership for Kids Ministry projects and events.
  • Recruit, equip, care for, and develop key DreamTeam (volunteers) and future interns.
  • Ensure the DreamTeam is scheduled and staffed to support kids ministry events; primarily weekend services.
  • Assist with Kids central Support details as needed.
  • Collaborate with campus’ Student Director to foster a Family Ministry approach.
  • Be the primary connector between CedarCreek and families with children.
  • Ensure the CedarVille environment remains irresistible to children and families, and is also supportive of all volunteer responsibilities.
  • Ensure that all Large and Small Groups are implemented with excellence at all services.
  • Ensure the Guest Service experience for new and regular families is excellent.
  • Ensure all Kids Ministry Playbook policies are read, understood, and implemented by the Campus Kids Ministry Staff and DreamTeam.
  • Clearly communicate verbally and in writing on an individual basis, in small group settings, and in large group settings. This relates specifically to communicating vision and may extend to other teaching and communication avenues.

Qualifications:

  • A lifestyle congruent with the biblical requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5- 9).
  • A calling to ministry.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
  • Outgoing, engaging, and enthusiastic personality with a strong passion for kids ministry.
  • Excellent spiritual and organizational leadership skills.
  • A team player and team builder who focuses on the good of the entire organization.
  • Commit to being a tithing, Missional Member in good standing at CedarCreek Church.
  • Attendance at a weekend service and in a small group.
  • Commit to attend weekly campus and central staff meetings.
  • Modeling and championing the Mission, Vision and Core Values of CedarCreek Church.
  • Commit to the CedarCreek Church Staff 10 points of accountability.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in a relative field is preferred, though not required.

Experience:

At least one to two years of experience in leading a kids ministry and can provide tangible measures of growth in those past ministry experiences.
