Bridgetown Church of Christ has been promoting and teaching the Bible on the westside of Cincinnati since 1933. The church is poised for growth and seeks to add a family minister to the staff. Men and/or women are welcome to apply. This new hire will be the fifth staff member on our team. We are very collaborative on our staff and foster relationships among ourselves and with our elders. This position would report to our operations minister, who oversees all staff. Our church intentionally does not have a senior minister and so the church is led by the elders, the operations minister with input from other ministry staff. There is money for conferences and staff have funds to allocate toward counseling or spiritual direction as desired.
Director of Family Ministries – overseeing ministry for birth through high school.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a clearly defined vision and strategy for
discipleship within the birth through high school
family ministries that work in conjunction with the
overall vision and ministry of Bridgetown Church of
Christ. - Lead a team of volunteer staff in the operation of
the birth through high school family ministries,
including weekend services, programming and
periodic special events. - Direct the recruitment, training, and development of
volunteers as needed to staff discipleship groups,
programming and special events.
