First Christian Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky is currently seeking a Children’s Minister to join our ministry team. The Children’s Minister will be responsible for the development of volunteers, strategies, plans, events, and lessons to minister to the next generation in our church and community. They will oversee, develop and expand our birth-5th grade ministries including oversight of our full-time Associate Children’s Ministry Director, and part-time Children’s Ministry Administrative Assistant.

Before the pandemic, our Children’s Ministry was connecting with about 170 children on a weekly basis, with a core volunteer team of about 100 adults. We just completed the second of three phases of a facilities expansion where we renovated 5,000 square feet of the Children’s Ministry area, and we expanded an additional 5,000 square feet of brand new ministry space dedicated to the Children’s Ministry.
