Lifepoint Church of Lewis Center Ohio is seeking the right candidate to take over as the new Associate Kids Director in the kids department at the Lewis Center Campus. Currently the Lewis Center Campus is seeing an average of 400 kids attending LPK (Lifepoint Kids) during Sunday morning services, and that number continues to grow at a rapid rate. The church is looking to hire someone to provide weekly administration, coordination, and support for LPK, its volunteers, and assist in the management of its environments on Sunday mornings.

The right candidate will have a deep personal life in Christ and a character and capacity that aligns with the church’s overall mission and vision. Below are the qualifications and responsibilities for this position:

Character:

  • Administer the weekly volunteer schedule for Lifepoint Kids at the Lewis Center Campus.
  • Assist in communication for Lifepoint Kids (staff, volunteers, and families).
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes for Lifepoint Kids volunteers.
  • Support the Lifepoint Kids resource teams.
  • Assist in the management of Lifepoint Kids environments on Sunday morning.
  • Assist in the identification, recruitment and equipping of Lifepoint Kids volunteers.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of annual calendar and action plans agreed to by the cross-campus team (scheduling dates, leading classes, leading at camp).
  • Commitment to regular communication & meetings with the Lifepoint Kids Director.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Lifepoint Kids Director, Teaching Pastor, Executive Pastor, or Lead Pastor.

Qualifications:

  • A calling to kids ministry vocationally.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
  • Outgoing, engaging, and enthusiastic personality with a strong passion for kids ministry.
  • Excellent spiritual and organizational leadership skills.
  • A team player and team builder who focuses on the good of the entire organization.
  • Willingness to align with the core values of Lifepoint Church.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in a relative field is preferred, though not required.

Experience:

No former full time experience required, though must have previous experience serving in kids ministry.
