A Taste of ministry – Ministry Resource Center

A Taste of Ministry is an internship designed to link local Christian Churches with students discerning their ministry calling. The goal of the program is to learn how interning in congregational ministry can better provide opportunities for mutual learning that deepen an understanding of faith and how God works through the church

A currently enrolled Emmanuel Christian Seminary graduate student or Milligan ministry student will temporarily join church staff during the fall semester to professionally serve the congregation and gain valuable ministry experience. This service includes assisting in the Sunday morning worship service and some pastoral care opportunities. The student will receive $500 for serving an average of 5 hours a week, for 5 weeks. Evaluations will be offered before and after the program to both the student and church leader.
